These tracks were completed between February and May, 2020. Due to COVID-19, I had a lot of time on my hands to make this a reality much sooner than expected.
I took the cover photo from a boat on the Detroit river...it is Zug Island. Zug Island is the epitome of heavy industry in Michigan. It is about as close to hell on earth as you can get. It is relegated to steel manufacture and rail interests. Think, the land of Morder while Frodo was destroying the ring, and you wouldn't be far off...plooms of fire and soot shooting out from various orifices in the landscape. Carbon deposits everywhere. Steam. Heavy metal clanging noises, etc.
Anyway, these tracks (and titles) reflect my state of mind ytd in 2020.
